Permanent Makeup Books & Permanent Makeup FAQ's -- What Clients Want To Know
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent Make up is Cosmetic Tattooing or sometimes referred to as Micro pigmentation. It is the procedure of implanting pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis to create an everlasting cosmetic effect.
Why should I have Permanent Makeup?
You can save time and money in your daily routine grooming and not have to worry about smearing, smudging or makeup washing off. Imagine coming out of the shower or pool and having eyebrows all the time.
If you have allergies to regular makeup, Permanent Makeup is for you.
What can Permanent Makeup do for me?
Permanent Makeup will enhance your eyebrows, eyes & lips while making your morning routine easier. It can also include Beauty Marks, Scar Camouflage, Areola enhancement or replacement and you can have sparse hair growth areas filled in.
How long does Permanent Makeup last?
The treatment is semi-permanent and won't wash off. However, fading does occur over time and the colors will soften. Touch ups are available to refresh the color and are recommended once a year at a discounted price.
What colors are available?
Color selection and design are discussed during your initial consultation. You may select from more than 50 natural tones or have a color blended especially for you.
How long does it take?
Most sessions will last approximately 2 hours or less. Your touch up session will be scheduled about 4 to 6 weeks after your 1st application and should take about an hour or so.
Does it hurt?
There are excellent topical anesthetic ointments available that minimize the discomfort. The benefits far outweigh the slight discomfort you may experience during this treatment.
Could I have an allergic reaction?
Permanent Cosmetic colors are created from natural pigments and iron oxide so there is very little chance of an allergic reaction. A patch test should be done 48 hours prior to your treatment.
Can I tell in advance what design and color are right for me?
Certainly We do all the designing and color selection during your initial consultation subject to your approval prior to the treatment being done.
