"Unique Image Honey Vanilla Scrub Exfoliator"
Unique Image's #1 Honey Vanilla
Scrub is formulated with fossilized resin coming from forests of Pinus
succinifera (amber producting trees), ground to a particle size smaller than 400
um. With an added glucolipid emulsifier derived entirely from vegetable
raw material. A combination of Gluconate and Magnesium, both of which are
intimately involved in skin metabolism and a natural surfactant concept inspired
by the vegetable kingdom and more precisely by the world of fruit.
Our #1 Honey Vanilla Scrub has
been developed as an exfoliating agent to accelerate skin desquamation.
Exfoliation erases layers of dead cells and impurities on the skin, thus
regulating the thickness of the horny layer and providing better cell
oxygenation. the results create a smooth, polished, impurity free, bright
and luminous skin tone.

Amber in Nature:
Amber is the only vegetable precious stone. Like pearls and coral, Amber
is included in the group of organic gems.
Amber has originated some 45 million
years ago. At that time Europe had a subtropical climate and was covered
by "Amber Forests", the Jurassic European conifer trees which is nowadays
extinct. The trees that produce Amber now are called Pinus succinifera.
The trees produced unusually large
amounts of resin, as a protection against insect infestations. The exuded
resin became hard into humid sediments, such as clay and sand at the bottom of
lagoons or river deltas, thus being preserved for millennia.
Amber is not a mineral but a product of
organic origin with an amorphous structure.
Magnesium
is the key to catalytic activity of over 300 enzymes. It is vital in all
aspects of cell metabolism, especially in reactions involving transfer of
phosphates (which are part of many of the processes of energy metabolism).
It stimulates the synthesis of certain amino acids and is important in lipid
metabolism. As well as being a stimulator of the immune system, it also
has significant anti-inflammatory action.
Gluconate
acts as a vehicle for Magnesium thereby promoting its delivery to the cutaneous
tissue. It is also important in cellular regeneration because it is
involved int he synthesis of ribose sugars which are structural components of
DNA and RNA molecules and in the production of NADPH, H+ which is a crucial
coenzyme in a variety of oxidation and reduction reactions (especially the
mitochondrial reactions involved in the process of respiration).
